DISH Network: Offshore Adventures

Explore great depths of the earth’s legendry waters on DISH Network, every Friday. ‘Offshore Adventures’, a show airing on the Outdoor Channel, discovers life in the oceans. Watch the couple, Melissa and Chris Fischer, go aboard, fishing the most exquisite catch. The show is a slight hint to the life on the land as well, exploring the coastlines and local villages. Chris and Melissa even love to taste their day’s catch.

They are accompanied by a chef on their vessel, which is 72-feet high. The vessel’s name ‘Go Fisch’ rightly serves the purpose of the host couple. The show is a name among the most –viewed outdoor shows in the country. The show, ready for its fifth anniversary this year (2010), holds interest for the non-adventurous viewers as well. Apart from the finishing techniques, cooking is also given quite an importance. To learn some delightful recipes of fresh sea food, keep an eye on the chef’s creations. Every episode has a new recipe waiting for you. The couple breaks a path from the typical shows on fishing and diving.

The show takes you along the Pacific Coastlines in search of free-diving spots at great distances from the shore. Watch out for the black marlins in Panama and the orcas in Alaska in the coming episodes. The program’s uniqueness lies in the moral that it teaches through the adventures: responsible and sustainable fishing. The camera takes detailed shots of every activity aboard and under water. To catch up with more adventures, remain hooked to DISH TV. For more information on such shows, keep reading with us here.
